Venue Info & FAQ

Airports: Albany International is closest, at about 1 hour away from the mountain. New York City airports may have more flight options, and are about 3 hours from the mountain.

You will need a car in order to get to the Ski Club (and accommodations) as it is in a rural location with very limited public transit.

PLEASE NOTE! The road to the venue is a narrow, one-way dirt road. Prepare for traffic on the way in! At 6:00 PM the road will switch to downhill (exit) only.

Williamstown and North Adams are the nearest towns with hotels. The Berkshires are a popular summer vacation spot with lots of hiking, museums, and summer events — so we recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible!

There will be a camping pavilion on the night of the reception if you want to spend the night on the mountain. Please let us know if you need a tent.

Mountain cocktail — dress as fancy as you want, but be prepared for uneven terrain and the possibility of rain. Consider flats or boots, or bring a pair of backups.

As much as we love dogs — with the amount of food, guests and equipment we're expecting, we kindly request you leave them at home.

Highs are typically around 75, lows in the 50s. Fingers crossed we get dry weather — but there's a chance of rain. The event will be primarily outdoors, however there will be a large tent in case things get wet.

We have tried to accommodate known dietary restrictions into the menu. There will be options for vegetarians, vegans, and those who are gluten free. If you have other allergies or restrictions please let us know ASAP.

No wifi and cell service is dodgy at best. Please plan accordingly.

There will be a cookout on Friday at the Springs Motel, near the road up Mt. Greylock.

On Sunday we'll have bagel brunch and coffee on the mountain.

Attendance optional for both; very casual.
